WINE TASTING COURSE - Spring 2011, Led by Prof. Steve Stein

Time: Sessions run from 7:00 to 9:45pm on Friday nights (see course outline for dates)

Cost: $130.00 Includes all wines and food matches. Beginner or pro, this is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of wine in a series of relaxed, comfortable, well-run sessions that are chock full of information on wine and pairings.

Meeting the Winemaker: Winemaking starts in the vineyard

We’re very proud to present the brilliant young winemaker, Peter Figge, of Figge Cellars in Monterrey, California. Peter is first a viticulturist, second a winemaker, but the combination, étonnant! Plus, we’re planning to tie in a wine dinner (additional charge applies) featuring one of Coral Gables finest restaurants in concert with Peter – TBA!

May 6th
The Cheapo Championship VI
Call it tacky, call it cheap, but boy oh boy, is this one sweet! Our class challenge to find a white or red wine that costs $10.00 or less, pair it with something amazing, and take home the prize (a bottle of wine – what else did you expect???)
